      The volleyball team has been off to a slow start, but has managed to remain competitive in every game so far this season.

      “Our team, in general, is made up of players that are competitive by nature. In addition to that, we have a desire to exceed expectations,” senior Sydney Schnarr said.

      “This current season has challenged me as a leader and forced me out of my comfort zone. I have had to lead not only by example, but vocally,” Schnarr said.

      The boys tennis program looks to start their season strong, overcoming their adversities both individually and as a team. Although the team has started off their season with a few hard losses starting their season 2-3, the goal is to begin to alter their culture as a team.

Warren Central softball team has their best season in years

        The Warrior softball team is going into sectionals with a 10 -13 record. The team played a tough schedule but has improved with each game. 

      “We are improving because we practice with a purpose, and we have an amazing coaching staff,” said senior Shelbie Stotts. 

        The practice and dedication to the game has paid off as the Warriors have competed with some of the best teams around Indiana.

        After a fantastic start to the new season, the Warrior baseball team is now 8-16 and heading into sectionals.

        As the boys track season comes to an end, the boys are maintaining a positive outlook and are planning on making it to State for the second year in a row.

       After having three conference champions and two individual county champions, the no. 2 ranked girls track team looks to make another run for the state title.

         Since its creation back in 2014, the Ultimate Frisbee team has had an impressive past few seasons and are continuously improving.

        The lacrosse team finished their season with a record of 6-1, but finished second in the MIC in total goals made, ahead of third by 56 goals. The conclusion of the season means it was the final game for the team’s four seniors.

Boys basketball completes undefeated season with State Championship

#1 Cathedral 

This non-conference game was one of the hardest games of the season for the Warriors. The Warriors went into halftime with a 11 point lead of 28-17. Cathedral came out ready to play in the second half with 25 points in the fourth quarter. Junior Armaan Franklin was responsible for 22 points for Cathedral. However, the Warriors played hard in overtime, and with a last minute push, they took the victory 66-64.
