Boys track aims for second straight regional title

        As the boys track season comes to an end, the boys are maintaining a positive outlook and are planning on making it to State for the second year in a row.

       After having three conference champions and two individual county champions, the no. 2 ranked girls track team looks to make another run for the state title.

        After successfully placing 10th in last year’s state meet, the Warren Central boys track team looks to improve for the upcoming season.

       After an impressive 2018 indoor season, the girls track team is ready to defend their two consecutive state championships.

     “As a team, I feel like we are still the best team in the state once we come together as one,” senior Kennedy Batts said.

In the past three years, the girls track team has gone from third, to second, and finally first in State.

Last year looked bright as ever for the ladies, their ambitions and goals were met when they were crowned 2015-16 State Champs.

They had an amazing year managing not to lose one meet in the 2015-16 season. On top of that they have only lost one meet over the last two seasons.

Girls Track wins Regionals

The Girls Track & Field Team won their 5th consecutive IHSAA Regional Championship Title last week.  They head to the State this Friday at 3 pm at the Robert C. Haugh Track & Field Complex at IU in Bloomington.

On your mark, get set, POW!

That is the sound of victory, the sound that the Lady Warriors track team heard before they ran away with the MIC title and two weeks later, with their second Marion County title. That is the sound the Ladies look forward to hearing when they do what they do best, compete and win.
