The Lady Warriors regular season is slowly coming to an end as they prepare for Sectionals. So far this season, the team is sitting at 12-7 and has competed with some of the top teams all around the state. The team have some impressive key wins this season against ranked Hamilton Southeastern and conference Rival Ben Davis.

“The team has grown so much that they are built for anything,” said senior Shaniya Caldwell.

Do not let the team's record fool you. Three of the Lady Warriors losses have been by five or fewer points. They are among some of the top teams in the state statistically.

Juniors Cydni Dodd and Shaila Beeler are both averaging nearly 11 points a game to help the team offensively. Sophomore K’ja Tally has also made a huge impact on the team so far as she leads the team in scoring averaging 11.9 points per game.

The Lady Warriors have two games remaining on their regular season schedule and will be in one of the toughest Sectionals in the state. Their Sectional features North Central, Lawrence North , and Heritage Christian.

“We can finish the season out strong by focusing and giving everything we got,” said junior Trinity McClendon.
