Netflix has finally released the second season of the broody and dark teenager audiences love to see, Wednesday Addams. There are a total of eight episodes in the second season of “Wednesday.” The first four episodes were released on Aug. 6, and the remaining four episodes were released on Sept. 3. 

In this season, the former cast has returned but now have slightly grown up and matured with the welcome of new characters as well. The new cast added to the show are Steve Buscemi as Barry Dort, the new principal of Nevermore; Evie Templeton as Agnes DeMille, a student at Nevermore; Bella Piper as Isadora Capri, the new head music teacher of  Nevermore; and more.

The very first episode of season two starts off with Wednesday tracking down a famous serial killer during her summer break. After confronting the killer she then proceeds to get kidnapped by him, but with the help of Thing, a severed sentient hand, and her ability she is able to get free. In the first season viewers saw how Wednesday gained her ability to see visions of the past and the future.  
Wednesday has been practicing her psychic ability all summer with the help of “Goody’s Book of Shadows” and now can use it on command. Though as her summer comes to an end she returns to Nevermore Academy, and now she is a well-known celebrity with the students there for her victory over the Hyde monster in season one. In the first season, Wednesday solved the mystery of the killings that were found around Jericho and how they connected to Nevermore. 

Now that she has returned to campus she realizes that she has a newfound stalker, and her abilities are acting strange. Every time she uses or sees a vision, there is a side effect of black tears. She then discovers a new mystery, a murdered cop involving the sheriff and his son Tyler Galpin, who was the Hyde monster she defeated.

Even though she wanted to stay away from any more secrets Nevermore may have, and the new principal, the pull to solve an investigation still drew her in.With audiences waiting to see where it will take her, the new episodes have fans on the edge of their seats and ready to join Wednesday in the suspenseful mysteries to come.
