The NBA 2K series is a collection of video games which emulates the sport of basketball and is re-released every year and loved by the gaming community.

The changes throughout the franchise of NBA2K have been tremendous. Various game modes such as MyCareer, Blacktop and My Park have been featured in the series, allowing for gameplay variety. Numerous elements of the games feature customizable options, like character and each game features the teams and players from the current NBA season alongside historic NBA teams and players. For more creative players, fictional players and teams can also be created and compiled.

The gameplay of NBA 2K21 has changed dramatically since the previous games in the series. Players have experienced numerous changes in this installment, including a new shot meter placement, and better mechanics like movement. The shot meter has been switched from a meter next to the left side of the player's body to above the character’s head and arms.

Also, in response to the shooting difficulties, 2K sports introduced a new patch for shooting. The new patch for the shooting hotfix has improved the shooting rate and driving layups. This means players will have little or no problem with shooting in the game.

This is one of the most important changes on the patch because shooting in the game was a large problem since the release and players have been having trouble getting used to the mechanics. The 2K community has been satisfied with the updated experience NBA 2K21 has presented to them.

NBA 2K21 contains a myriad of difficulties. For example, lagging out of games, characters being deleted, and problematic animations. The community hopes for more updates in the near future for this game.

The soundtrack of the game is loved by the gaming community and considered better than the previous games in the franchise. The flow in the soundtrack has a hard bass which gamers love. The soundtrack gives players a vibe that allows them to play better. The soundtrack features artists and songs like “What’s Poppin” by Jack Harlow. “Broke In A Minute” by Tory Lanez, "No Threat" by Anonymuz featuring Denzel Curry and many more. Although the original version of the songs in the soundtrack are explicit, the game censors the lyrics to make it more accessible to a younger audience.
