Bring your holy cross and bible, you are going to need it for this new movie. “The Unholy” is a new supernatural horror movie, revealing dark powers within “God’s Mighty Gates of Heaven.”

The movie begins with a hearing impaired girl named Alice, who had a supposed visit from “The Virgin Mary,” the mother of Jesus Christ. Thanks to this visit, Alice gained her ability to hear and speak again, including being able to heal the sick without any medical tools, as seen in the trailer, as she healed a disabled child and gave them the ability to walk again. As word spread about Alice’s miracles, people from far, near, and wide came to the small New England town of Wayside to witness these miracles in action, and none were disappointed.

The movie then changes to the location of Gerry Fenn, a disgraced photographer, who heard about Alice’s miracles, and decided to investigate. As he delves deeper into the young girl’s mind, strange occurrences happen all around town, from death to ghostly images. As more and more of these strange occurrences happen around town, Gerry starts to wonder if this was the work of “The Virgin Mary” or a darker presence.

Jeffery Dean Morgan, an American actor and producer of film and TV, plays as Gerry Fenn, the disgraced photographer in this new movie. In his career in acting, he played as “The Comedian,” a cigar chomping anti hero in “The Watchmen,” John Winchester in “Supernatural,” and Negan in “The Walking Dead.”

This movie is a must see for lovers of the supernatural horror genre. It was released on  April 2 and is being shown in theaters.
