“What If” is a cartoon about one of the most famous comic series in the Marvel Universe. It’s based on how the Marvel Universe might have unfolded if key moments in its history had not occurred as they did in mainstream continuity. Like what if Spiderman joined the Fantastic Four? Or what if Jane Foster founded Thor’s hammer? This show will have different stories every week instead of one big story. But, unlike many installments, it will not be live-action, instead, it will be a cartoon.
One of the bigger stories that viewers will see is what if Steve Rogers did not get the super-soldier serum, but Peggy Carter did. This episode is going to be set in 1942, right when America entered World War II. It will follow the same storyline as the first Captain America movie “Captain America the First Avenger” but instead of Steve Rogers, it will be Peggy Carter.
Another big story that viewers will see is what if instead of Yondu taking Peter Quill he took King T’Challa also known as the Black Panther. This story will follow T’Challa on his journey to become “Star-Lord.”
There is one story that people are getting excited about and that story is what if captain America turned into a zombie. This story will follow Bucky Barnes also known as the Winter Soldier trying to stop the zombie plague but the only way he can stop it is to kill his longtime friend Steve Rogers also known as Captain America.
This show will have no impact on the MCU. It will go by its own storyline and will not change anything in the MCU. It will just be a fun show to get people thinking about all the things that could have happened in the MCU. There will be plenty of stories with a bunch of different characters. This show will be a point of view of the watcher.
This show will be weekly coming out every Friday starting sometime in the summer, and it can only be watched on Disney+.
